Hey 👋, my name is David Garibay. I am a Software Development Engineer in Test living in Raleigh, NC.

I like solving real-world problems using code. Whether its by creating a small one-time script or collaborating on the design, architecture, and documentation of an automation framework. I like using tools based on the problem at hand, even if it means learning something new.

One of the ways I like learning is by taking things apart and putting them back together, this has helped when I QA products. I like learning how things are intended to work, then identifying any points of potential failure so that they are addressed by the time they reach end-users. To cover large areas of products, reduce manual effort, and reduce time spent on regression testing, I learned programming to create automation frameworks.

When im not working on side projects, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, learning to cook new meals, or walking my two dogs.
